The purpose of the Upper Highlands Neighborhood Association is to: 

  • Promote the social and economic interest of the neighborhood
  • Act as a liaison in matters involving needs related to neighborhood
  • Afford opportunity for expression and interchange of opinions of special interest to all members
  • Educate residents and the community at large on issues of concern to the neighborhood
  • Work with local government and similar agencies in promoting the neighborhood
  • Aid and support worthy legislation and community efforts to improve the neighborhood

President – Honi Marleen Goldman Honi Marleen Goldman is a fourth generation Louisvillian who has lived for the most of her life in the Upper Highlands, Honi has been the Vice President of the UHNA since 2015, and before that the Secretary from 2013.  She organized the 2016 District 8 Metro Roundtable and holds various chair and board positions for other non-profit groups, including being the Chair of the Lights Committee for the Festival of Trees and Lights.   A former press secretary to a member of the US House of Representative and a TV producer at the NBC station in Chicago, she is the owner of HMG Media Relations, a media relations firm that specializes in news coverage.

She has lived in the Highlands for over 25 years and in the Upper Highlands neighborhood on Emerson for the last 12 years.   She is an account manager for a large local insurance company and works with many large employers in the Louisville area.  She loves the Upper Highlands neighborhood and is anxious to help serve on the board of the UHNA. She is committed to growing our UHNA membership, developing and supporting neighborhood wide initiatives and projects and bringing our community together

Lisa and her husband Kyle live on Tremont Drive with their three-year-old Will, seven-month-old Nina, and dog Atticus.
